About the therapy
Oxygen, under pressure
In hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) you breathe concentrated oxygen while the air pressure around you is raised above normal. Under pressure, more oxygen dissolves into the blood plasma itself, so more reaches the body's tissues than breathing normally allows.
Hospitals have used HBOT for many decades for conditions such as decompression sickness and some slow-healing wounds. It is now also widely used in recovery and longevity settings, and research into these uses continues.
At Eden Longevity Center, HBOT will be available as a single session and as part of our programs, alongside our diagnostics and regenerative therapies.

Your session
What to expect
Briefing
A short health check and an explanation of the session, including how to equalise the pressure in your ears.
Entering
You enter the chamber in comfortable clothing and settle in.
Pressurising
Pressure rises gradually. Your ears may feel full, as on a descending flight, which swallowing relieves.
Sixty minutes
You breathe concentrated oxygen and rest. The chamber then returns slowly to normal pressure.
