About the therapy
Binding what the body struggles to clear
EDTA (ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid) is a compound that binds to metal ions in the bloodstream, forming stable complexes that the kidneys then excrete. It has been used in medicine since the 1950s, originally for lead poisoning.
It has also been studied for cardiovascular health, including in large trials funded by the US National Institutes of Health, with mixed results. Our doctor will talk you through the evidence honestly and help you decide whether it is appropriate for you.
At Eden Longevity Center, every course begins with blood and urine analysis to check kidney function and mineral levels. Each infusion includes supporting nutrients and is supervised by our physician and nursing team, and minerals are replaced afterwards.
